Community Updates from Dr. Bob: 08/30/2023
Your kids are among our highest priorities. The world is so different from the one you grew up in and it continues to change fast! It feels less safe, more uncertain. In such a time as this, connecting kids to what is sure—to the great love God has for us—offers stability, peace, and confidence.
Community is committed to providing intentional discipleship for both you and for your kids. This Fall, we are acting on that commitment by providing discipleship classes for people of all ages.
Beginning on Vision Night and running alongside the Discipleship Lab on subsequent Monday nights, we’ll have a parallel program for kids and grandchildren.
The program we’ve chosen for the kids is Renovare’s Life with God. It assumes children’s relationships with God are just as important and real as adults’ relationships with God and teaches them how to look for and find God in the simple things in life. We’ll have a nursery and age-appropriate activities for children from toddlers to 5th grade.
Knowing Monday is a school night, we are making it easy for families by providing dinner and finishing the evening by 7:30pm.
