SUMMARY:Discipleship Bands
DESCRIPTION:What’s a “band”?\n\nA band is an intentionally small group of three to five men or women who meet weekly to support each other as they follow Jesus. \nThe outline is simple: ask powerful questions\, listen actively\, and pray for one another. It’s all very simple\, but this simple rhythm (when we’re real about who we are what we’re going through) becomes transformational. \nBanding is one of the ways that we experience connection and practice community as we seek to be with Jesus\, become like Jesus\, and do what Jesus did. \nWhen we connect with people who are committed to following Jesus\, we set ourselves up for the support and encouragement we need to belong in our faith. \nWe find that spiritual growth is as close as a few other people who are willing to band together. \n\n“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds\, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25 \n  \nReady to Join a Band? \nHere Are Your Next Steps: \nBanding is simple—and flexible. Choose the path that feels most natural for you: \n☐ Form a band within your House ChurchIf you’re already part of a House Church\, consider inviting 2–4 others of the same gender to begin meeting weekly. This is often the most natural place to start. \n☐ Form a band with people you already knowYou may already sense who to invite—friends\, prayer partners\, or others at Community you trust.
