Ash Wednesday begins the Lenten season\, the forty days before Easter in which we take time to quiet our hearts\, draw near to God\, and return to the Lord in fresh ways. We can use these 40 days to examine our hearts and acknowledge our sin to come before the Lord in repentance. \nDuring this unique and meaningful service\, we will worship through song\, scripture reading\, reflection\, and the imposition of ashes (optional). While this is never a joyful task for people left behind\, it is necessary\, and taking steps now can lighten the load for those designated people. \nWeekly notes and articles to read in preparation for each class are e-mailed for you to print. The workshop is limited to 10 members to allow better interaction among all participants. We do not promote any organization\, legal\, or financial company and we are not affiliated with a religious group. The presenters are volunteers who provide information and support. They are not licensed to give relationship\, financial or legal advice. \nThe workshop will cover some of the nuts and bolts for ending well such as required paperwork\, your digital estate\, wishes for your funeral or celebration of life gathering\, creating a findable file containing everything needed to settle your affairs and distribute your belongings. DESCRIPTION:On the first Friday of every month\, we’ll be hanging out at church with all of our elementary kids\, kindergarten through 5th grade. We’ll eat dinner\, play some games\, learn about Jesus\, and have a ton of fun. By hanging out on a few Friday nights\, we hope that we can see better connections among our kids all while having a blast. \n5:30-7:00 pm \nFebruary 3\nMarch 3\nApril 14 (April 7 is Good Friday)\nMay 5 (Family) \nIf you know your kids will be joining us\, please RSVP so we can plan appropriately.
