ProcessGroups

Process Groups flow from Hebrews 12:1, throwing off everything that hinders us, and from Colossians 3:9-10, putting off the old self and putting on new, Christ-like attitudes and behaviors. Confidential, nonjudgmental groups form around a common issue that everyone is experiencing. At the end of these group conversations, we might see God in some new ways, gain important insights about ourselves, and choose to respond differently.

Even people who do not attend church have come to Process Groups offered by the church. They’ve said that when a friend invited them, they finally found a place to talk about issues not discussed in any other context.

Summer 2024 Process Groups

Care for the Caregivers (in-person). Caregiving – whether in a professional or family setting – is exhausting and difficult. This group will address the emotions, mental, physical, and spiritual needs of caregivers from a Christian perspective. Mondays, ongoing from 11:00am-12:30pm (room 100; Community Church Rancho). Register here.

Less Anger, More Hope (Zoom). Anger’s obvious, destructive aspects often overshadow its value. This course offered focused reflection on the many faces of an emotion all humans deal with. We can manage it differently to bring more peace into our daily experiences. Participants receive a discussion guide days before each of the four 1-hour Zoom conversations. Tuesdays, July 9th-30th. Register here
