Making Room for What God Is Doing
God is doing something beautiful at Community. There’s a growing hunger, actionable next steps, baptisms, discovery groups, lives open to God’s Kingdom taking root all around us!
We’re grateful that more people are finding their way to Community, but what excites us most isn’t simply growth in attendance. It’s seeing people say yes to Jesus—in prayer, surrender, community, generosity, and mission.
This is the kind of church we’re praying to become: a family of everyday disciples learning to follow Jesus and help others follow Him.
Stewarding What God Has Given Us
As God continues to breathe new life into our church, we also want to faithfully care for what He has entrusted to us.
This year, that includes two significant needs in our Worship Center: replacing the roof and our aging sound system.
The building isn’t the mission. But it is a tool for the mission.
Week after week, people gather here to worship, hear Scripture, encounter the gospel, celebrate, grieve, pray, and take steps toward Jesus. Caring well for this space helps us continue making room for those moments while keeping our attention focused on the larger mission God has given us.
Our goal for the 2026 Year-End Drive is $200,000 to help fund these two projects.
How Can I Participate?

Then, as He leads, consider how you might participate through a year-end gift, appreciated stock, or other resources God has entrusted to you as an addition to your regular generosity.

What is the Year-End Drive for?
This year’s Year-End Drive will help fund two major projects in our Worship Center: replacement of our roof and our aging sound system.
What is the goal?
Our goal is to raise $200,000 toward these projects.
What’s included in the sound system – and why?
The sound system includes more than just new speakers. It comes the major components that need to work together, including mixing and processing equipment, monitors, professional installation – and integration so that everything works together well in our room.
Our worship center’s wide layout (the east and west “wings”) also make sounds coverage more complex. The goal is the build the right system for our room and ministry needs: clear, reliable sound that help people hear scripture, participate in worship, and engage full in our gatherings for years to come.
Why address these projects now?
The roof has reached a point where significant work is needed, with several leaks over the stage and in the lobby. We’re working with Perry Roofing to replace the protective paper and tiles, which will also allow us to match the color and style of the Family Life Center. Our sound system is more than 25 years old and has become increasingly unreliable and limiting.
Rather than continuing to patch both problems, we believe this is the right time to address them well. Delaying another year or two would also likely mean higher costs as materials and equipment continue to increase in price.
Is this changing Community’s ministry priorities?
No. The building is not the mission. Our mission remains making resilient disciples and seeing the good news of Jesus saturate the Inland Valley. Caring for our campus is part of stewarding the tools God has given us so we can stay focused on that mission.
How should I decide what to give?
Start with prayer. We’re inviting everyone to ask:

There is no expected amount. We want generosity to flow from listening to Jesus and responding as He leads.
Can I give something other than cash?
Yes. In addition to online giving and checks, you may be able to give appreciated stock or other funds. Our Director of Operations, Robert Solorza, can help answer questions about those options. Contact him at RobertSolorza@findcommunity.com.
How do I give online?
Visit the giving page, click “Give Online,” and select “Year-End Drive” from the drop-down menu under “Fund.”
Can I give by check?
Yes. Make your check payable to Community Church Rancho and write YED in the memo line. You can place it in an offering box or drop it by the church office.
